Dr. Battles gently stretches the cervical spine at different angles, varying between flexion, or forward motion, with extension, or backward motions. Once she finds the right angle, she concentrates on relieving tightness.
Cervical mobilization and manual traction are often combined, with the chiropractor switching between the two.
